Tell me more about yourself--how did you end up at the Spire?

Much like yourself, it was requested of me to lead refugees here, after the destruction of the castle. This was perhaps a month previous now, but I enjoyed the company of many, and wish not only to personally see to their wellbeing but made a promise to the baron to help as I am able. Moreover another commitment brings me here often, as a sort of personal meal to a vampire friend, for lack of any better wording.

[He laughs with the last part, really how else do you put the arrangement he has with Paloma.]

This friend must be dear indeed, if you would trust that they not overstep their bounds with you. But it is honourable of you to devote your service to those here. Now more than ever should all of us -- human, vampire, other -- follow the example of their fellows to help.

[she's not entirely lying about that, either. the only way they were going to ever have their revenge was to strike hard, strike fast, and strike as a united front.]

I agree with you entirely, we must all do what we can to help one another at all times, but particularly in strife. There are so many in need now, more than ever as you say, that we must all pull our own weight and that of others together. Particularly those who are trained in such services, where it is always our duty.

And the same can be said for those that hold any degree of power. For those that seek refuge in Mair, while Lord Ganondorf is a stern man, I have not seen him be less than fair to those that would find a home there and abide by its laws. The same protections as would be afforded to any citizen will be extended to any that come in this hour -- I'll see to it myself, if I must.
