[Most might not injure themselves on purpose for science, or if they do, it should be a small cut or prick. But Jekyll would do nearly anything for science, and the best results come from the more extreme route! So he rolls up his sleeve, and taking the sword from Dorian, slices across the width of his forearm, near the elbow, deep and long. Blood pours from the wound immediately, of course, but he expected that much, so it comes with no reaction, other than a small flinch of pain. As it keeps bleeding, he passes the sword back with a smile.]

Thank you, it's a beautiful sword.

[And then, slowly it does begin to heal. The bleeding stops, though the wound remains open for some time.]
